March 2025

Many of us have been experiencing big unexpected shifts or have been going through major life transitions. Others have had strong steady years, with some of their greatest wishes finally coming to fruition. Globally, we have been observing technological advances and events that we likely never anticipated to witness in our lifetimes.

While all our perspectives and experiences are uniquely our own, we could all agree on one simple truth;  life is a journey. As we continuously evolve, remember to give gratitude and relish in those moments of joy and abundance, and in times of challenge know that it will only be a matter of time before we are back up again.

We recently concluded the experience of Mars retrograde, most intensely felt from December 6th through February 24th. The time period brought up challenges to trigger opportunities for reflection on where we allocate our time and energy, our level of confidence, assertiveness, emotional boundaries, and self care habits. Many had instances of self doubt, quarrel in relationships, fluke injuries, illnesses or other unexpected challenges that got in the way of our ambitions- it was there to get us to slooooooow down. Observe, pay attention, see what’s serving you and what’s not. It’s difficult to see it in the moment, but irritating hold ups and setbacks are often our allies so that we may reconsider our plans more carefully. Rather than plowing through it is of benefit to be stalled and make tweaks or even reconsider moving forward at all.

The unexpected gift of reuniting with significant people from the past was a big theme. In my own experience that ranged from friends from elementary through college, deep adult friendships, and even romance. It was a chance for a do over. And while under most energies when people pop back up from our past it’s there to relearn the lesson (not necessarily reunite), this energy was different. Relations that had naturally just fallen astray, or even some falling outs, popped back in with mutual appreciation and forgiveness of each other. Maybe sometimes enough time passes or we mature enough to realize the value of having certain people in our lives regardless of how the bond disentangled.

What was happening for you from December 6th through February 23rd and even current? It’s helpful to go back as far as October 5th as the story began unfolding with the onset of the retrograde shadow phase. I am sure there were surprises and parts of life stalled.. but where and how? Did anyone from your past pop up? Injuries? Arguments? How was your ability to show up confidently- or were you overcome with doubt? Did you feel included or supported and how did you provide self care for your emotional body?

If any of the above came up we got to make some tweaks to improve on any conditions that were not supporting us (ie. feeling insecure about presenting? -> take a class), and now move forward again stronger and more aligned with our true path. Just take moderate steps if you can. The shadow phase is still active until May 2nd and then we may finally run.

You thought you just started a new year, and guess what- now you will again with he new astrological year and its starting off strong. In March we have two eclipses which always shake things up a bit, although how big of an effect it has on each depends on where it falls in the birth chart and our own evolutionary intent.

March 29th 2025, we will conclude the Aires Libra eclipse series that began April 2023. Over the course of the last two years we have been placed in situations where we’ve been pushed to have the courage to be ourselves instead of suppressing who we are due to excessive dependency on relationship.

Relationships are vital and needed as humans, that is not in question here. However, those of us who have put too much reliance on the other or partnerships to the extent that they deny their own thoughts, desires, and needs, have been being nudged- some even punched so that we could see the situation clearly. In the moments following regaining our vision we either recognized the need to work on changing those dynamics or quickly went back to denial. I 100% did both- there is no shame in being a human here.

Yes, its true that in some cases partnerships may end (this is all partners- work, business, love, family, friends), but those that remain will be strong. If people do leave your life, they are making room for the new ones to come in that align with and support you for being who you truly are.

“The person who comes into your life is the right person.

What happens is the only thing that could have happened.

Anytime it starts is the right time.

When something ends, it ends.”

The lunar eclipse on March 14th highlighted themes of the Virgo Pisces axis. The new balancing act will be between the analytical, detail oriented, and perfectionist parts of ourselves and the learning that nothings perfect, nor could perfection be sustained, and sometimes things just are without an explanation- like miracles.

The evolutionary goal is forgiveness and acceptance in the realization that life is flawed, as are we. We all make mistakes, no one is waiting to judge and condemn us (we just impost that on ourselves). There is a grounding awareness of reality with a movement towards opportunities to revisit our hopes & dreams and the highest vision for ourselves. Somehow we must learn the compassion to accept and forgive while we move forward diligently, steadily focused on our intent, right action, and maintain our values. In doing so we attract our dreams into fruition, allowing them to unfold before us.

You may already be feeling this one or have been over the last few weeks, but the effects of the eclipses themselves are usually not seem immediately. Often it takes several months for them to play out to see where they bring us on our journey. If you are going through intense unexpected changes try to take comfort in knowing the story is so much bigger than what we can see in this moment.

Rather than having to wait months to know how the story ends, we are blessed with the gift of insight from where the eclipses fall in your chart and which personal points they interact with. Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, and Sagittarius will feel the March 14th lunar eclipse the most; while Aires, Libra, Cancer, and Capricorn will be the most effected by the solar eclipse on the 29th.

Look, my life has been a roller coaster. Oh the stories I could tell (and I will)… but I move through it all so much lighter now. I get a heads of what’s going to be playing out for me on my journey, and it helps me to process, not take things personally, and be more strategic in my planning. Live smarter not harder right? There’s nothing wrong with using a cheat sheet in the wild game of life. Blame it on the cosmos, or use the knowledge they gift us, that’s what I do. And yes- It does makes me feel much better. :)
